The Younger Statesmen are a sketch and improv comedy troupe based in Los Angeles. Matt Chester, David Kantrowitz, Matt Schwartz and Danny Tieger started performing together at Skidmore College, as part of a long-running improv troupe founded twenty years earlier by emmy-winning producer, David Miner.  They decided to continue working together in their post-graduation lives, and in 2008 became finalists in Rooftop Comedy's National College Comedy Competition, with a video that was later featured on YouTube's homepage.
They currently perform weekly at the Improv Space in Westwood, combining their talents to create a unique show filled with music and art, and have won several cage match competitions at iO West.
Other projects include: a pilot for Traveling Light Partners LLC, development with Dante Basco with his classic character Rufio, and writing/producing an independent television pilot.
